IngredientsFor this recipe, you are going to need the following: - 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 6 tablespoons of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 5 tablespoons of baking powder
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/3 cup of beet puree
How to make them:- Whisk milk, butter, and eggs together in a large bowl. Slowly add the salt, sugar, baking powder and the flour to the mix while continuing to stir.
- Finally, mix in the beet puree and stir until the batter becomes nice and smooth where there are no longer lumps showing and it becomes an even pink color.
- Cook pancakes for 1 minute to 11/2 on each side.
- You will know they are ready to flip when tiny bubbles start to appear around the outside of the pancakes.
