Ingredients:For this recipe, you are going to need the following: - 4 large peeled bananas
- 8 wooden Popsicle sticks
- 32 ounce bag of semisweet or milk chocolate chips
- an assortment of toppings ie: Sprinkles, chopped nuts, granola, graham cracker crumbs etc
How to make it:- Cut each banana in half and insert a Popsicle stick into the flat bottom.
- Place the bananas on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and allow to freeze for 1 hour.
- While you are waiting for the bananas to freeze, melt the chocolate and butter, by combining them in a small bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring occasionally.
- Spread your toppings onto plates so you will be able to roll the bananas and coat them evenly.
- Dip the frozen bananas one by one into the chocolate and use a spoon to help cover the entire banana.
- Once it is covered in a layer of chocolate, roll the banana in the topping of your choice.
- When you have finished lay the bananas back on the cookie sheet and freezer.
